David Lee Rawls, Sr., 70, of 512 Edgegrove Circle, St. Pauls, NC died Saturday, February 06, 2016 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 2pm at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake with Rev. Jerry L. Johnson officiating.

He was the son of the late Willie Sherman and Ruby Rawls and was a retired US Army Drill Sgt.

He is survived by his wife, Mamie Rawls of the home. Sons, Demetras Lou Rawls of Garner, Donnell Lamont Rawls of Raleigh and LaWayne Whitfield of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Daughters, Deitra Rawls of St. Pauls and Angela Locklear of Lumberton. Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 12:30 until 1:30pm at the funeral home.
