James Calvin McDonald, 64, of 4159 Locks Creek Church Road, Fayetteville, died Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 04, 2017 at 3pm at Locks Creek AME Zion Church in Fayetteville with Rev. Kenneth Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Esther McDonald of the home. Brother, Donnell McDonald of Fayetteville. Aunt, Bernice McDonald of Fayetteville. Cousins and caretakers, Glenda Whitehead and Dorenza Branch both of Fayetteville.

A viewing will be held at the church Saturday from 2-3pm prior to the funeral.
