Josephine Gainey, 86, of 3136 Aglow Drive, Eastover, died Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday. February 21, 2017 at 11am at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church in Eastover. Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Park.

She is survived by a daughter, Levetta G. Smith of Eastover. Sister, Marian A. Smith of Fayetteville. Nieces, Doris Cozart, Bernadette Anderson both of Fayetteville and Lana Gantt of Virginia.Nephews, Billy Gainey of Florida, Landis Fisher of Fayetteville and Robert E. Gainey of SC. Sisters-in-law, Hazel Stubbs of Eastover, Cora Gainey of Autryville and Margaret Gainey of Virginia. Brothers-in-law, Harry Turner of Eastover and Daniel Greene of Florida.

A viewing will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 4-6pm at the funeral home.
