Lucille Carter, 92, of 4273 Locks Creek Church Road, Fayetteville died Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11am at Bethel AME Zion Church in Spring Lake. Burial will follow in Locks Creek AME Zion Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Lois Joseph and Rudolph Carter of Ga. Paul Carter , Tammy McNeill and Joyce Beard all of Fayetteville, Oscar Carter of Stedman and Curtis Carter of Wilmington. Twenty-five grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Thursday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
