Marjorie Herring Cromartie, 74, formerly of Wade and White Plains, NY, died Friday, June 03, 2016 in Raleigh.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 6pm at Girtman Memorial Church of the Living God in Port Chester, NY.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 in Rockfish Memorial Park in Fayetteville.

She was the daughter of the late Stacy W. and Ella Mae Adams Herring and was a church musician.

She is survived by  sons and daughters in law, John and Stephanie Williams of Raleigh, Robert and Janelle Carroll of Port Chester, NY.

Daughters, Tracey Williams of Raleigh and Crystal Nimons of White Plains, NY. Sisters and brother in law, Margaret and Henry Lee Geddie of Fayetteville and Mary LeFever of New Fairfield, CT. Brothers and sister in law, James and Polly Herring of Danbury, CT, Kaley Herring of Port Chester, NY.  Ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and  nephews including Kevin Herring who was considered a brother also survive.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 07, 2016 from 5 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
