Rev. Alonzo Jordan, 58, of 208 Paddlewheel Rd, Fayetteville, died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
He was an associate minister at Mt. Hebrew AME Zion Church in Fayetteville and a US Army veteran.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 10am at Mt. Hebrew AME Zion Church in Fayetteville with Rev. Larry Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Bragg with military honors.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Jordan. Children, Carlos Jordon and Roslyn Shields of Maryland, Darrell Shields of Virginia, David Shields and Alonzo Jordan of NC. Brothers, William Jordan and Dexter Jordan both of Washington, DC and Anthony of NC.
A viewing will be held at the church on Friday from 9-10am prior to the service.
