Russell Simmons, 93, of 620 Deep Creek Rd. Fayetteville, died Saturday, April 17, 2016 at his home.

Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Locks Creek AME Zion Church at 1:00 pm with Rev. Verlon Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery.

He is survived by daughters, Bobbie McClain and Morris White of Fayetteville, sons, William Simmons, and Marion Simmons both of Fayetteville, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5-7 pm.
