Stanley Gilbert Wilson, 65, formerly of Fayetteville, died Sunday, June 18,2017 in South Boston, VA.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at noon at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel in Fayetteville with Rev. Bobby McKoy officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Memorial Gardens on Monday at noon.
He was a former City of Fayetteville employee and an Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Rev. Mary M. Wilson. A daughter, LaVonna A. McKoy of Atlanta, GA. His father, Edward Wilson, Sr. of NJ; a sister, Andrea Brame of Danville, VA. and four grandchildren also survive.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11am until noon.
