Walter James "Doc" Allen, 88, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Carolina Rehabilitation Center of Cumberland in Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday. May 07, 2016 at 2pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel with Elder Reginald Silver officiating.

He is survived by a daughter, Myra L. Allen of Fayetteville. Sons, Jeffrey Allen and Howard Allen both of Fayetteville and Winston Jones of Florida. Four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 06, 2016 from 5-7 at the funeral home.
