SSgt. Warren C. Green, Air Force (Ret), 84, of 5011 Shimmer Drive, Fayetteville died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

A funeral mass will be conducted on Monday at 12:15pm at St. Ann Catholic Church in Fayetteville with Father Stephen Shott officiating. Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at Ft. Bragg with full military honors.

He is survived by four daughters: Yolanda Debra Wilson of Dalzell, SC; Sabrina G. Hendley (Fredrick), Bettye Renee Carter, and Donna Olivia Green of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren Calaundra N. Razor (Michael) and Clarissa C. Williams (John) of Sumter, SC; Ronald Stacent Carter (Kamelia) of Durham, NC; Courtney Sonrée Carter-Garris (Jamarr) and Christopher Brandon Carter (Sirena) of Raleigh, NC; Sabrina Nicole Hendley-Hunter (Darrell) of Fayetteville, NC; Arielle Chantal Dedeaux of Charlotte, NC; Fredrick Vaughn Hendley and Michael Shane Hendley of Fayetteville, NC., and 12 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by  sisters, Zelia E. Green of Cambridge Heights, NY; Ernestine Newman Green of Fayetteville, NC; a nephew, Lloyd Green of New Hempstead, NY; a sister-in-law Bettye Newman Woodburn of Winston-Salem, NC, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 3 until 5pm at the funeral home.
