Bishop Genathern Winston, 78, of 4744 Denton Court, Fayetteville, died Friday, January 11, 209 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11am at Cape Fear Conference B Headquarters in Raeford with Chief Bishop Apostle Harry Lee, Sr. officiating. Entombment will follow in Rockfish Memorial Park Mausoleum in Fayetteville.
He was Vice-Bishop of the Bible Church of God of Lillington, Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Sadie Winston of the home. Daughters, Patricia Jones, Wendy Hicks and Claretha McKoy all of Fayetteville. Sons, James Winston and Felton Winston both of Fayetteville. Brother, Isiah Winston of Fayetteville. Sisters, Doretha Singleton, Ola Mae Mickens and Ida Champagne all of Fayetteville. Beatrice Garner of FL and Lula Johnson of Red Springs along with seventeen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Pisgah Top Bible Church of God in Erwin Friday from 5-7pm.
