Donald George Barany, Sr., 69, of 2382 Dunwoody Drive, Fayetteville, died Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Highsmith-Rainey Specialty Hospital in Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 12:30pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel. Burial will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Bragg at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Margarete Barany. Daughters, Jessica Helfgott of Fayetteville and Sheila McIntyre-Blust of Greensboro. Son, Donald Barany, Jr. of Boston, MA. Brother, David Barany of Ohio. Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
