Elder John Godwin Obituary

Elder John Junior Godwin, 57, of Godwin, died Sunday, July 22, 2018.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 1pm at Spring Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Godwin with Dr. Stanley Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Lindsay Cemetery in Godwin.

He is survived by sons, John Curtis McBryde and Nehemiah Sankey both of Dunn and daughters, Patrice Godwin of Dunn and Lynette Wilson of Sampson Co.. Siblings, Winston Godwin and Clarence Godwin, both of Godwin, Phyllis Robinson and Wilma Merchison both of Fayetteville, Perry Godwin of Angier, Elvis Godwin of Coats and Anthony Godwin of Dunn and several grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the church on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
