James Earl Cook, 64, formerly of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in Florence, SC.

Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 11AM at Herring Funeral Care Chapel.

James Earl Cook, born January 9, 1954 to parents A. C. Cook and Fannie L Cook in Fayetteville, NC. He grew up and received his formal education in Fayetteville City School System of North Carolina. He served honorably for three years in the U.S. Army from 1971 – 1974 with one tour of duty in the Asian Theater of South Korea.

He was preceded in death by his parents A.C. and Fannie Cook and his sister Earline C. Coston. Surviving him are; his sister, Doris Perry, Brothers Clarkston (Ann) Cook, Enos (Marselle) Cook, an uncle; John C. Monroe, a Brother-in Law, Thomas Coston, Sr. all of Fayetteville, NC as well as a multitude of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends throughout the United States.
