James Strother Obituary

James W. "Slack" Strother, 76, of 1751 Ireland Drive, Fayetteville, died Monday, June 04, 2018.

He was a former employee of Fayetteville Parks and Recreations.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 12 noon at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by a son. Rolando Strother (Chante) of Fayetteville. Sister, Alma Jackie Strother of Fayetteville. Brothers, Roscoe Strother, Emmanuel Strother, Gerald Strother and Charles Strother all of Fayetteville.

A viewing will be held on Thursday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
