Josephine Thompson "Mama Jo", 92, of 724 East Chapel Street, St. Pauls, NC died Tuesday, December 03, 2019 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11am at Little Marsh Chapel AME Zion Church in St. Pauls with Rev. Boyd Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Park.

She is survived by her children, James Thompson, Alex Thompson (Arlene), Twanna Ray (Curtis), Cedric Thompson (Angie), and Kim Thompson, all of St. Pauls, Josephine McCoy (James) and John B. Thompson both of Fayetteville, Cynethia Foulks of High Point , Tonjia Glenn (Pastor Michael) of Greensboro and Ida Peterson of Charlotte. Brothers, Walter L. Regan of St. Pauls and Glenn Regan of Fayetteville, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by devoted loved ones she called daughters, Patricia Blalock and Dartha Johnson.

A visitation will be held at Little Marsh Chapel AME Zion Church in St. Pauls on Sunday from  3 until 5pm.
