Phyllis Elwood Obituary

Phyllis Elwood, 76, of Fayetteville, died Monday, January 14, 2019 in Durham.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 11am at Simon Temple AME Zion Church with Rev. Brian R. Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by a son, Kevin Elwood (Pattie) of Greensboro. Daughter, Karema Atkinson (Dekevias) of Raleigh along with three grandchildren. Sisters, Norma, Joan and Evelyn. Brothers, James, Sr., William, Earl, Ronald, Robert and Louis.

A viewing will be held at the church Monday from 10-11am.
