Shirley Townsend Obituary
Shirley M. Townsend, 81, of 1886 Cascade Street, Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11am at Mattock Memorial AME Zion Church in Fayetteville.
She was a retired registered nurse at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville.
She is survived by a daughter, Jacquelyn Rush of Culpeper, VA. A son, Milton Townsend of Fayetteville. Sisters, Natherline Mathis, Sarah Phillips and Kathy McMillan all of Fayetteville, and Deborah James of Hopkins, SC. A brother, Chalmers McMillan of Fayetteville , along with five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5-7pm.
