Vernon Markham Obituary

Vernon J. Markham, 78, of 312 Brass Court, Fayetteville, died Monday, November 12, 2018 in Marietta, GA.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 12:20pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel with Rev. Jacqueline D. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Ft. Bragg.

He is survived by his father, Vernon Markham, Sr., his sister, Carma Fuller, his two daughters, Debbie Stevens (B. David) and Karen Williams (Trey); his son, Vernon Markham, Jr, III (Lakeisha); his nine grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Effie Mae Frances Albright, and his brother William Markham.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4pm.
