Alethia "Sis" Smith, 74, of 2705 Gressitt Point Lane, Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, February 01, 2025 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 11am at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel.

She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Smith, Jr. of the home. Sons, Henry Harriel, Jr. of Fayetteville and Reginald Harriel of Kannapolis, NC; a daughter, Nakia Smith of Fayetteville. Sisters,  Regina Lee, Cynthia Marks and Rosemary Watts, all of Columbia, SC. Brothers, William Jackson of Summerville, SC, Raleigh Lee of Columbia, SC and Herbert Lee of Greensboro. Two aunts, Elise Brown and Carolyn Woods; three brothers-in-law, William Smith, Sr. (Delores) of Wilmington, NC, Gary Smith (Dorene) of Hopkins, SC and Isaac Jordan (Vernice) of Sedalia, MO, along with fourteen grandchildren, Johnathon Smith of Fayetteville, Nakia Harriel of Fayetteville, SSg. Akeera Jenkins of Cheyenne, WY, Rasheme Smith, Sr. (Katherine) of Jacksonville, FL, Quan Williams of Fayetteville, Syte'Nial Harriel of Kannapolis,NC, Kaitlan Farrior and Aniya Harriel of Raleigh, Tamerra Smith, Julia, Aliza and Abram Harriel, Macario Walcott, all of Fayetteville., Alura Saunders of Triangle, VA and seven great grandchildren, Mariah Kershaw, Aniyah McArthur both of  Fayetteville, Rasheme Smith, Jr of Jacksonville, NC, Kaisyn Harrington of Kannapolis, NC, Imiayah and Imariah Ware, Nyla Henderson, all of Killeen, TX

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 14, 2025 from 5-7pm.
