Obituary

Alfonso McMillian, Sr., 93, of 3164 Old Raleigh Road, Eastover, passed away on Saturday, September 02, 2023 at the VA Nursing Home in Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 12 noon at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church in Eastover. Burial will follow at 2pm at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Ft. Liberty.

He is survived by his wife, Magalene McMillian of the home. Sons, Alfonso McMillian, Jr. of Charlotte and Michael McMillian.; two step sons, Kenneth Madden of Fayetteville and Taurus Madden of Florence, SC. Three daughters, Gwendolyn Reilly, Stephanie McMillian and Sarah McManus, all of Cary, along with twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 4-6pm.
