Amos Armstrong, Jr., 80, of Washington, DC, formerly of Wade, passed away on Saturday, November 01, 2025 at Caring Cove Assisted Living in Hyattsville, MD.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 12 noon at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel.

He is survived by a son, Alexander Jones of Goldston; a daughter, Rochelle Reid of Fremont; a brother, Alphonza Armstrong of Raleigh; sisters, Annie Ogbodo of Garner, Mary Hargrove (Johnny) of Youngsville and Shirley Moore (Gary) of Knightdale.

A viewing will be held on Saturday from 11am-12noon, prior to the service.
