April Battee, 57, of 501 Stoneway Court, Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, January 08, 2025 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 1pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel. Burial will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, James Battee of the home. A son, Joshua Battee. Mother and stepfather, Bernice and George Haywood, Sr. of Fayetteville. Brothers, Jimmy Moore, Normandy Haywood and George Haywood, all of Fayetteville.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12-1pm, prior to the service.
