Bernard Taylor

Bernard Taylor, 69, of 2800 Reynolds Park Road, Winston-Salem, formerly of Goldsboro, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 12 noon at Darden Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, 111 East Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC 27530. Burial will be on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 12 noon at Oaklawn Cemetery in Winston-Salem with military honors.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Taylor of the home. Children, Javaugh McDonald of Evansville, Indiana, Shalamo Bracey of Goldsboro, Clayton Keck of Wake Forest, Kashif Pina of New Bedford, MA and Kente Taylor of Winston-Salem. Sisters, Louann Oxendine and Vanessa Davis, both of Goldsboro. Brothers, Reginald Taylor of NJ, Vincent Middleton and Donald Middleton, both of Atlanta, GA and Larry Taylor of Goldsboro, along with eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 11am-12noon, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting plants.
