Billy Ernest Lee Lowrance

Billy E. Lowrance, 70, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Covenant Love Church. Another full funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Green Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Tryon, NC.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Carolyn, and their blended family of eight children, nineteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. His family includes Kevin Lynch, Sherrod Lynch, Channing Lowrance, Markeith Hatcher, Heather Eddington, Ashley Love, James Wongus-Love, and Chelan Basden-Ewing. He is also survived by three sisters: Reverend Carolyn Lowrance-McFarley, Minister Peggy Brian, and Therese Twitty. And Chance, his beloved dog.

A viewing will be held at Covenant Love Church on Thursday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., prior to the service. The viewing in Tryon, NC, will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
