Bobby Lewis Bell, 76, was born in Wade, NC to parents Jasper and Annie Mae Bell. He passed away peacefully on Oct. 26, 2023 in Chicago, Ill.
He graduated from Armstrong High School in Eastover, NC where he excelled in track and field. After graduating, he joined the U.S. Army and served in Korea for three years.
Upon return, he made his home in Stamford, Connecticut where he lived for more than 50 years. He was employed at Electrolux in Old Greenwich, CT on the assembly line and later worked for Omega Engineering and Blind Brook High School for many years.
Bobby loved fishing, driving and serving as president of the Homeowner's Association of Woodland Mews.
Bobby was so kind, everyone who knew him loved him.
He is predeceased by his soulmate and loving wife, Daisy Lewis Bell.
He is survived by his sister, Alma Haywood of Bridgeport, CT; his son, Robert Lynn Holland of Hope Mills, NC; his daughters Aynesia Bell of Bridgeport, CT and Nicole Lewis of Huntersville, NC; and nephew and godson, Torin Jenkins of Baltimore, MD.
Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 2pm at Household of Faith World Outreach Center, 468 North Plymouth Street, Fayetteville, NC.
