Carolyn J. Birts, 80, of Spring Lake, passed away on Wednesday, October 08, 2025 in Matthews, NC.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11am at Williams Chapel Church in Spring Lake. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Spring Lake

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory:Children: Jena Shipman (Pastor David), Jamita Davis (Ronald), Cara-Lynn Birts (Rick Smith) and Jimmie Birts III

Grandchildren: Jaron Davis, Joshua Davis, Cailyn Birts, Kean Shipman, Janiya Birts, Jayshaun Birts, and Kashton Birts. Sisters: Althea Wharton (Malcolm) of Newport News, VA; Dr. Glenda Farmer (Jerome) of Fayetteville, NC; Pamela Marks (Michael) of Fayetteville, NC. Bonus son: Dwayne Webb (Nya) and 7 grandchildren.

She also leaves behind a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at the funeral home from 5-7pm.
