Carolyn Walker, 83, of 5728 Dobson Drive, Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, May 04, 2023.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 10:30am at First Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Bragg.
She leaves to cherish her memory and mourn her passing, her husband, Bennie Walker, son, Roger; her sisters, Yvonne Davis of Hope Mills, NC, Alice Chapman of Albuquerque, NM, Tonya (Lance) Ewers of Spring Lake, NC; brothers Thomas (Keisha) Thames, Waldorf, MD, William M. Thames, Sacramento, CA; and grandchildren, Celeste (Terrell) Loveday, April Lee, Bennie Wright, Dennis (deceased), (Tyshara) Lee, Roddrell Heard, and Tyshannon Walker; brother-in-law Jesse(Denice) Walker, Rochester, NY; sister-inlaw Virginia Devine, Rochester, NY; Elvidge Thames, Fayetteville, NC as well as a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Carolyn also leaves behind a caring friend, Tracey Sherrod.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-7pm.
