Catherine Whitted

Catherine Whitted, 88, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, October 06, 2025 in Texas.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 12 noon at Second Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Burial will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

She is survived by daughters, Linda Anderson (Alfredo) and Yolanda Primus. Sons, Gregory Whitted (Carolin) and Thurman Whitted, Jr. (Sheila). Sisters, Hattie Mae Melvin, Irene Johnson and Mary Council, along with eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the church on Friday from 11am-12noon, prior to the service.
