Curtis Junior Covington

Curtis Junior Covington, 75, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 05, 2025 at 11am at New Bethel AME Zion Church in Fayetteville. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by daughters, Tashia Farmer of Fayetteville, NC and Mona Smith, of Hope Mills, NC.   His mother, Callie Covington of Fayetteville, NC.  Sisters, Virginia Kemp and May Harrington, both of Fayetteville and Annie James of Woodbridge, VA.; a brother, Michael Covington of Marietta, GA, along with seven grandchildren  and six great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 04, 2025 from 4-6pm.
