Daniel A. Hayes

Daniel Hayes, 79, of 2162 Chipper Street, Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 05, 2025 at 10:30am at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel. Burial will follow in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Bragg at 12 noon.

He is survived by his wife, Ollie Hayes of the home; a son, Anthony Hollingsworth of Spring Lake, a daughter, Donna L. Hollingsworth of Fayetteville. A sister, Betty Smith of Tallahassee, FL, along with seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 04, 2025 from 5-7pm.
