Derrick Sutton

Derrick Sutton, 49, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, July 05, 2025 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 1pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel.

He is survived by his three beloved children: Jahlin Sutton, Alissa Sutton, and Ty Sutton, of the home. He is also survived by his loving mother, Hazeline Sutton of Fayetteville, NC; his siblings: Andrea Brown (Tyrone) of Hammond, LA; Freddie Sutton of Oklahoma; Alfonso Sutton (Erica) of Fayetteville, NC; James Sutton (Tabitha) of Seattle, WA; and Lateshia Arrington (Jason) of Waco, TX. 

A viewing will be  held at the funeral home on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 5-7pm.
