Donald Decosta Parker, 74, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, June 07, 2026 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 12 noon at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel. Burial will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Spring Lake.

He is survived by sisters, Doris P. Baylor (Timothy) and Vaneta Parker, both of Minneapolis, MN; a brother, Michael Patterson of Fayetteville. Nieces and nephews, Brandon Truxon of Silver Springs, MD, Amber Baylor of New York, NY, Justin Baylor of Minneapolis, MN and Ashley Hall of Cheverly, MD. Aunt, Linda Gail Kelly and several cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11am-12 noon, prior to the service.
