Donna Burns

Donna Burns, 57, of Hope Mills, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Valley Hospice House in Fayetteville. 

Donna Michelle Burns was born on November 22, 1967 in Charlotte, NC. On Monday, November 10, 2025, Donna Burns passed away at the age of 57.

She was preceded in death by her Father, James Clayton Pegues.  

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 2pm at Baptist Union Missionary Baptist Church in Hope Mills. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Reginald B. Burns, her son Reginald B. Burns Jr. (Phamalae), daughters: (Darren) Tiffany Tyler & Niesha Burns, 6 grandchildren: Rhyan, Reginald III, Chloe, Darren Jr., Caleb, & Darrek, her mother Jahalier Pegues, her siblings: Angela Waring, James Pegues Jr., Carla Pegues, & Rhonda Love, & a hosts of family and  friends. Throughout her life, Donna has been a positive light and inspiration to many. A true believer and servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 5-7pm.
