Douglas French McBryde, Sr.,71, of 4401 Roller Court, Raleigh, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Wake Med in Raleigh.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 5-7pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel.

He is survived by his life partner, Patsy Creecy; children, Douglas F. McBryde, Jr. (Tiffany) of San Antonio, TX, Adrian B. McBryde (Renata) of Hope Mills and Scott Creecy (Jessica) of Athens, GA. Sisters, Shirley A. Fisher of Fayetteville and Irene Lawson of Durham, along with six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
