Earlene (Johnson) Council

Earlene Council, 90, of 4256 Dunn Road, Eastover, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 02, 2025 at 2pm at Sandy Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Wade. Burial will be at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Liberty at a later date.

She is survived by a son, Tony Council of Houston, TX; daughters, Jacqueline Alford and Tonya Murphy, both of Eastover. Sisters, Gwendolyn Baptist and Janice McMillian, both of Eastover and Etrice Graham of Raleigh.

A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday from 12 noon until 2 pm, prior to the service.  The family will receive friends at the home, 4256 Dunn Road, Eastover on Tuesday, December 31, 2025 and Wednesday, January 01, 2025 from 2 pm until 6 pm.
