Edward David Williams, Sr.

Edward David Williams, Sr., 74, formerly of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 in New York.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 12 noon at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel. Burial will follow in Melvin Cemetery in Cedar Creek.

He is survived by his wife, Elinda Williams. Sons, Kahiem Dobbs Williams, Edward Dobbs Williams and Subur Dobbs Williams, all of Brooklyn, NY; sisters, Diane Williams of Atlanta, GA and Deborah Avant of Fayetteville., along with nine grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 5-7pm
