Elder Sandy G. (Geddie) Herring

Elder Sandy G. Herring, 68, of 4701 Woodline Drive, Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 04, 2026 at1pm at True Vine Temple Reasoning Center in Spring Lake. Burial will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Spring Lake.

She is survived by her husband, Deacon Willie J. Herring, Sr. of the home. Sons, Willie J. Herring, Jr. and Terrance J. Williams, both of Fayetteville. A sister, Patricia Ann Wimberly of Spring Lake, along with four grandchildren. 

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5-7pm.
