Ernest Monroe, Sr., 56, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 20th , 2022, 12:00 Noon at Herring Funeral Care Chapel (Invitation Only). Burial will follow at Northside Cemetery.

He is survived by sons, Ernest Monroe, Jr. and Eric Monroe both of Fayetteville; sisters, Iris Monroe of Durham, NC and Jean McBryde of Poughkeepsie, NY; brothers, Maurice Monroe of Mount Vernon, NY and Kenneth McBryde of Groton, CT and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held 10:00 – 12Noon on Thursday prior to the service.
