Gladys W. Purdie

Gladys W. Purdie, 75, of Parkton, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 12 noon at Swan's Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Hope Mills. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Robinson of the home and Stephanie Purdie of Hope Mills. Sisters, Eloise Melvin (Dan), Annie Best and Estella McNair, all of Fayetteville, Faye Gillis of Parkton, Rutherlene McLaughlin and Eleanora Melvin of Hope Mills. Brothers, James Butler, Joe and Cornell Womack, all of Fayetteville, Johnny Burns and  Ulysses Womack of Hope Mills, along with six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5-7pm.
