Glorious U. Fowler-Simpson

Glorious Fowler-Simpson, 86, of 3502 Tribune Court, Fayetteville, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Duke University Hospital. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 2pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel. Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Park.

She is survived by her husband, Willie L. Simpson of the home. Her children, Melvin Fowler of Fayetteville, Glorious Crowder of Rocky Mount; stepchildren, Valerie Simpson of Fayetteville and Marella Simpson of TX. Sisters, Jettie Ulmer Rice of Atlanta, GA, Albertha Hubbard of SC and Virginia Ulmer of CT; a brother, Landard Ulmer of Raleigh, along with seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5-7pm.
