Isaiah Matthews

Isaiah Matthews, 96, of 3342 Decillion Road, Eastover, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Valley Hospice House in Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 12 noon at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery in Eastover.

He is survived by a son, Milton Matthews, Sr. (Shirley) of Fayetteville, along with seven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11am-12noon, prior to the service.
