James Henry Smith, 85, of 1266 Herring Gull Drive, Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Henrietta Smith of the home. Daughters, Dina Smith of Fayetteville and Diana Mickel of Clinton, MD. Sons, James Smith of Warrington, VA, Timothy Smith of Williamston, NC and Curtis Smith of Fayetteville. Sister, Dorothy Gibbs of Huntersville, NC, Carrie Moore, Vinester Clark and Ada Roberson, all of Washington, NC; a brother, John Henry Williams, Jr. of Washington, NC, along with fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at Mission Field Ministries on Monday, June 16, 2025 from 1-3pm. Burial will be in Farmingdale, NY.
