James Thomas Herring, Jr., 50, of Wappinger Falls, NY, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024.

Funeral services in Connecticut will be held Monday, August 19, 2024 at 5pm at New Hope Baptist Church in Danbury, Connecticut with a viewing from 3-5pm, prior to the service.

Funeral services in North Carolina will be conducted on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 1pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel. Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Park with full military honors.

He is survived by his wife Rosa Herring; his daughter, Jacy Herring; his mother, Polly McNair Herring; his sister and brother-in-law, Jamika and Glennroy Ford, their children Barry, Jameya, and Glennroy Jr.; his sister and brother-in-law, Jerniece, and Samedy Lam, their children Jakayla, Abiel, Callie and Asher, along with his companion, Dawyn Korvoski.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12-1pm, prior to the service.
