James Kent Obituary

James A. Kent, 91, of Hope Mills, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center..

Funeral services by invitation only will be conducted on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 11am at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel. Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Marian Kent of the home. His children, Marilyn Punch and Jean Pope both of Brooklyn, NY and Rosa Mel Gresham of Bolton along with ten grandchildren and thirty-six great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10-11am.
