James Edward Rhone

James Edward Rhone, 63, of Stedman, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 2pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Rhone of the home; a son, James, Jr. of Fayetteville; brothers, William E. Rhone (Rose) of Fayetteville, Anthony W. Rhone and Gregory O. Rhone, both of the home. Sisters, Denise Brown (Billy) of Linden and Kisa Baggett (Stephen) of Godwin.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-2pm, prior to the service.
