Kristina Faye Hibbitts

Kristina Faye Hibbitts, loving daughter and mother, 38, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020.

Kristy was born on March 25, 1982 in Kingsport, Tennessee to Elizabeth Faye Owens and Kenneth Wayne Blevins. During her childhood, she became an accomplished equestrian.  She graduated from Powell Valley High School in Big Stone Gap, Virginia and attended Mountain Empire Community College.

Kristy was known for her infectious smile, her kind and compassionate heart, and her graceful skill with horses, dogs and other animals.  She was simply beautiful, inside and out. 

Kristy was preceded in death by her grandmother and grandfather, Opal Faye Osborne Owens and Sammy Owens of Gate City, Virginia, and her grandfather, Elmer Blevins of Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

Kristy is survived by her mother and step-father, Elizabeth Owens and Alan Lee, of Custer, South Dakota, her brother, Allen Vaughan of Hiltons, Virginia, her precious children, Bryson Mitchell and Kaylee Mitchell, her father, Kenneth Blevins, her grandmother, Inez Blevins of Big Stone Gap, Virginia, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at the Osborne Family Cemetery in Dungannon, Virginia after travel conditions become safer for family and friends.
