Leona Marie Heyward, 24, of 510 Langdon Street, Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, April 09, 2022.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 12 noon at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel with limited capacity. Burial will follow in Northside Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband Brandon Sawyer of Fayetteville. Her children, Ju'Riel Sawyer and Julani Sawyer. Her parents, Leon and Gretta Heyward of Fayetteville. Sisters, Safira Henkis-Wilson (Marcus) of Columbia, SC and Mica Heyward of Fayetteville. A brother, Stephen Henkis of Greensboro. Grandparents, George and Connie Roberts of Queens, NY, Nora Ford of Queens, NY, Leon, Sr. and Joanne Heyward of St. Helena Island, SC and Ann Brickhouse of Baltimore, MD.
A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 5-7pm.
