Linda A. Weikel, 72, of Vass, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024at Peak Resources Pine Lake in Carthage.

Linda A. Weikel, peacefully passed away on January 25,2024 in Carthage, North Carolina.

Born on December 19,1951 to the late Robert and Ethel (nee: Stone) Schaffer and was raised in South Philadelphia. She moved down to North Carolina to live with her son and family for the past 3 years. She was an avid Phillies Baseball fan who never missed an opportunity to cheer and root on her team to a win. Also, a wonderful mother and nanny who was dedicated to her family.

Beloved wife of the late Raymond Weikel. Loving mother to John (Heather) Erle, and the late Jennifer Holt. Dear nanny of Jamie and David Holt, the Babushka to “J.T.” and Jackson Erle. Sister of Bob Schaffer and Denise Myers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Friday, February 02,2024 from 9-11am at the Murphy-Ruffenach Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home, 3rd & Wolf Streets. Funeral Home Religious Services to follow 11am. Burial Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery.
