Louanna (McLean) Brown

Louanna Brown, 99, of 5375 Clipper Drive, Hope Mills, passed away on Monday, February 09, 2026 at Carolina Rehab Center of Cumberland.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 11am at Union Oak AME Zion Church in Parkton. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebrew AME Zion Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Lillie Glover and Bernice Lock, both of Fayetteville, Sarah Kelly and Anna Malloy, both of Hope Mills and Mary Williams of St. Pauls. Sons, Bernard Brown and James Brown, both of Hope Mills, along with twenty-two grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10-11am, prior to the service.
